Windows 11 Folder Color Changer expects a a square image (equal dimensions) by default. If you prefer to use a wider image, turn on “Full size inset image” on the Options tab.

Please note that full size inset images are “stretched” to fit, so, as always, use your favorite image editor to prepare your image, particularly in regards to perspective, before applying your image as a full size inset image.
