Product Specific Privacy Notice
When you request to unlock (activate) your copy of Windows 11 Folder Color Changer, the app will transmit a software ID and the e-mail address that you provide to us. You are welcome to use a temporary e-mail account to ensure your privacy, but bear in mind the e-mail address must match the one used when first purchasing your license.
The software ID is derived from the serial numbers of your processor, motherboard and/or storage device. The product key that we generate when you request to unlock your copy of Windows 11 Folder Color Changer is derived from the software ID. We store the software ID within your user profile on your computer so that it always remains the same for your specific installation of Windows 11 Folder Color Changer.
We respect your privacy. We will use your e-mail address only to confirm your payment of the license fee, deliver your product key, and send you any urgent, security or service related e-mails pertaining to Windows 11 Folder Color Changer (you can opt out, but if you do, you do so entirely at your own risk). We will not send you any unsolicited e-mail, and we will not sell or otherwise disclose your e-mail address to anyone.

When you save a folder list, the folder list is encrypted to help ensure your privacy. The folder list is only saved in the location you choose and is never transmitted over the internet.
While the app interacts with folders on your computer, any technical awareness of your folder names is limited to the running instance of the app itself as it pertains to the app’s features, and is never transmitted over the internet.
