To force Windows Explorer to update folder icons, on the Tools tab click “Restart Explorer”. If that doesn’t work, on the Tools tab click “Rebuild icon cache”.

Windows Explorer sometimes take a while to update folder icons, and if you’re updating many icons at once, updating them may be visibly slow. This is not a bug in our app, but a common issue with Windows Explorer itself (Google the phrase “Windows Explorer not reflecting changes” and you’ll see pages and pages of reports!)
